February 28 to March 3, 2013, in nearby Columbia, Mo.
The festival presents documentary films along with question/answer sessions with those who participated in making of each documentary.  Additionally, there are events, parties, gatherings and music venues during the local festival.

Rocheport Irish Road Bowling

Every March the Rocheport General Store hosts Rocheport Irish Road Bowling on the 240 Spur.  Participants and spectators dressed in spring regalia and Irish-green commence the game at the end of the spur near Highway 40.  Each member of the selected teams tosses the small, iron ball down the road toward the City of Rocheport.  The team who has made it to the finish with the least amount of throws are hailed as the victors. All then adjourn to the General Store for a proper Irish meal and a pint of stout. Each participant is charged a fifteen-dollar fee, which includes a road bowling T-shirt and other amenities.
And as the Irish say: 
"Go gcuire Dia an t-adh ort!"
(Guh g'iruh dj' eea un tawh ort) May God put luck on you!

Friends of Rocheport Society will sell flowers to raise money for the Rocheport Museum and other historical landmarks in the town.  Come and join us for a relaxing spring weekend.

The Rocheport Wine Stroll
September 21, 2013, 4:00-8:00 P.M.

Come join us for barbecue, wine and music at the annual Rocheport Wine Stroll.   Attend Les Bourgeois Winery’s Crush Festival at the A-frame on the blufftop early Saturday afternoon and  then buy a wine glass for $15 and sample wines from around the State of Missouri. 

Remember that Missouri has been only second to California in wine production.  In the 1870's, Missouri vintagers even sent healthy Missouri roots to France so that grape growers there could restock their fields, which had been destroyed by a virulent pest.  Many say that Missouri saved the wine industry in France at the time.
